Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] NAPCO support Bill Walters Fri, 4 Feb 2000 10:34:06 -0600 |
Mark,
Restarted laptop this morning (I'm using it instead of household ECS system
to test panel stuff) and no error codes. Will advise if it happens again.

How are the various States of Security-RTS-C type used? Is it possible for
you to e-mail me definition documentation? The problem from this end, is
that NAPCO doesn't provide any information. If you can't share
documentation you received, can you tell me how I can go about obtaining a
copy? Could you give me one specific example of how a Security-RTS-C item
might be used?
I've created an item named Alarm Test with a TYPE of Security-RTS-C... No
matter what "condition" I try to use (SET, T1, T1/A, etc) ecs tells me
"unknown state".
Example:
Alarm Test T1<-Stt PC-Pres-Log-Upload
is a non-player... I'm not trying to be obtuse, I just don't know what to
expect from any of the "states" shown under Security-RTS-C type. Is the
panel expecting to get data from ECS or to send data TO ecs..... you get
the picture. Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated as
try-try-try again doesn't seem to be working too well for me.
