Hi Kevin:
On second thought, there is a switch in IE5 that asks you if you want to
automatically use the DUN. If this is disabled, you manually have to
initiate DUN.
If you want to try this (taking my advise is living dangerously!) Go into
Control Panel, Internet Options, Internet Properties, Connections and push
the radio button "Never Dial A Connection"
