Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] NAPCO Support Bill Walters Sun, 6 Feb 2000 17:18:05 -0600 |
Mark,
Not sure what I said that created such an outburst from you on the NAPCO
stuff..... but it seems as I certainly got your tail feathers ruffled...
If I offended you with my comments, then I apologize, although I fail to see
how you could have been offended....???
My comments were that NAPCO expects software that is integrated with their
panel to be "turnkey" and do everything for the user. Perhaps integrated by
the user's dealer..... My specific comment was "Not so for us ECS users";
due to the power/flexibility of ECS, we can do just about anything we want,
once we bust into the device we're integrating.....
Frustrating? Yes... Particularly when you know there is all this power,
just waiting to be harnessed....... but you need a map to find the treasure.
I was hoping for a peek at the map, Mark.
Again, if I offended, you have my apologies, for I am one of your, and ECS's
supporters...
Bill Walters
