Well, checked the TCP/IP connections on the network by pinging across the
network, and I do have the following line in autoexec:

SET ECS_WEB_SERVER=1

On the local machine I can see the states in the browser but cannot set
them.  

From a different workstation, the page displays, but the item states still
are not set and are unchangable.  

I'm using the ECS generated pages and I have removed the generation line
from autoexec.bat

I have a feeling though that this is going to be a great addition to ECS. 
Can't wait to write some Java to go along with it.
