Re: [ECS] Logging OUTGOING calls

Hello Tom

As it stands now there is no way for ECS to detect LOCAL activity of the
phone. I have built a tone decoder circuit and sent that data into
digital inputs to detect tones on a local phone. I believe JDR
Microdevices sells such a kit for about $30.00. I also use a telephone
recording device bought from Radio Shack to detect LOCAL Phone PICKUP
and HANGUP through a digital input. The group (along with myself) had
been talking about getting together to have Mark support another PHONE
BOARD such as DIALOGIC. This would add LOCAL phone activity to ECS along
with the possibility of more than one phone line. Let me know if you
need more detailed info.
