Gary,
This sounds like a hardware or cfg problem.
Please copy EXAMPLE.CFG to X.CFG, def the COM port
of your PHONE-INTERFACE Item, and re-test.
If it works, we know we have a cfg problem.
Otherwise, it's probably a modem failure.
Has anything changed which could have triggered this problem ?
