Subject: From: Date: | stanley home-link garage indicator Scott Reston Mon, 14 Feb 2000 18:49:43 -0500 |
has anyone out there played around with the Stanley Homelink garage indicator? i picked
one up to play around with... but i can't seem to figure out what to
have ECS look for. it doesn't appear to use standard codes... if anyone has any pointers,
please let me know.
for those interested, the garage indicator is basically a RF sender/receiver combo...
there's a piece that attaches to the back of your garage door and senses
when it's gone from horizontal to vertical (and vice versa). when the status changes,
it sends a signal to a RF receiver which then updates a garage door status
module that you put somewhere inside the house. works pretty well... if anyone has any
questions about it, let me know...
