Rob gave you a great answer. Here is yet another possibility - that's what
I'm doing. I don't have Windows and Linux on the same machine, but rather
have two (actually three) separate ones that are networked together. With
that setup, the solution is to install Samba on the Linux machine so that
it looks just like a Windows machine in your Network Neighborhood.
Obviously, Samba won't do you any good if you reboot between Linux and
Windows, though.
