Subject: From: Date: | Occasional ECS freezing Michael David Fri, 10 Mar 2000 23:38:58 -0500 |
Hi Mark!
I just wanted to give you a heads up that I am having trouble with 4.3.002
and 4.3.003 occasionally freezing, apparently for no reason, on my NT
machine. During this freeze, all event processing stops, and the ECS menu
clock does not update. In addition, the CPU activity display drops to
almost 0. To wake ECS up, all I have to do is move the mouse, and then ECS
catches up to real time.
This wasn't a problem with the previous version I was running (4.2.010).
Nothing has changed on the computer since the update, and the only changes I
have made to the .cfg are the necessary changes to the group-min/max items,
and virtual items.
Now, I know I'm not giving you anything to go on. I just wanted to make you
aware that something was going on. This weekend, I'll troubleshoot it a
bit, and get some debug files to you. Anything in particular you want me to
check or test?
Cheers!
Michael David
