not currently, but it wouldn't be too hard to do. i've got a handy plugin that somebody
wrote me that'll output the path of the currently playing song to a known
filename. you could evaluate the file it dumps to see if winamp is playing, then change
your 'winamp:power' accordingly.

you can get the plugin at http://therestons.com/info/winampCurrent.zip

i think that the plugin puts "none" in the file when winamp stops, but you'll have to
check. i've written a little perl script that'll take this path and get some info
about the song and put it in text files available to ecs. this comes in handy if you're
listening to a song, but can't remember the song name or artist - have ECS
speak it!

Interesting... I just use a winamp:power item which is of type on/off, which I use in
a similar fashion.˙Does your event recognize
if you go to winamp and click on the stop button?
