RE: [ECS] WinAmp Question

Michael,

I have a Diamond Monster Sound Card MX 300
(http://209.10.46.172/default.asp?menu=monster_sound_mx300&sub_menu=). It
allows multiple sources output at the same time. In other words, the TTS
can talk while Winamp is playing. I've heard up to four sources at the same
time, although I've never tested the limit... (TTS, Winamp, Windows Media
Player, and a Windows sound). I believe there is a newer Monster MX 400 and
also the Sound Blaster Live has this capability. It also has two separate
outputs - one variable, and one fixed. I've got mine plugged into a
MP3-Anywhere from X-10, which is fed into my stereo for whole house
TTS/Winamp.

(I believe that's what you mean by 'keeping the music out of your TTS..')

Subject: [ECS] WinAmp Question

Hi Folks!

Anyone running WinAmp on their ECS PC? How are you dealing with keeping the
music out of your TTS announcements and vice-versa?

Is it possible to run two soundcards, having TTS feed one, and WinAmp feed
the other?

Cheers!
