RE: [ECS] Modem and Set up

Hi Don!

Good speaking with you as well. Glad your voice is coming back.

Not sure why a110 isn't working for a port . DT assignment. You might try
f110.

Have you tried sending AT#CLS=8 to the modem with a Win95 terminal program
to see if the modem will even respond to that command?

Anybody else have any ideas here?

On the Dialogic board, I was thinking several of us would pitch in to pay
for Mark's time to implement it into ECS. What do you guys think?

Cheers!

Oh Yeah!

Enjoyed squeaking to you. My voice is somewhat back.

Ah...I always manage to leave something out. Looking at the options in SETUP
I could not find an address similiar to what I tried to insert. I plugged
the value "a110" in anyway saved it and restarted ECS. That is where the
Modem Error message came in. I think ECS sees the address conflict between
the .DT file and Win95 and
disconnects the modem.

I'm hoping that I simply have put the wrong address in the DT file, as the
modem works outside of ECS just fine.

On another front, (and I'm sure our mail will cross paths) what did you have
in mind for the proposed new Phone Card?

Thanks again for your help yesterday.

Don
