Subject: From: Date: | RE: [ECS] Win2000? Steven M. Eaton Wed, 29 Mar 2000 08:50:39 -0600 |
I have been running ECS with W2K for about a month. It is running without
any problems except for the formatting problem as mentioned before with NT.
I do not have any other software loaded on this box as it is dedicated to
running ECS. On my main box, I have loaded W2K and you have to be careful to
get the latest version of the software that you want to install and make
sure it is W2K compliant before you load it. Some will run ok , but some
will trash it and have conflicts with other programs. I have run into
numerous problems with this. You also have to be careful with the drivers
for your hardware, which may require updates to work properly. Just a word
of warning from my experience.

Did we ever get a response to this? I just got Win2000, and was wondering
the same thing. Anyone try ECS on W2K?

Steve Eaton is. I talked to him today said he will try to respond shortly.
He has Teenagers and cars. Trouble is he is as good at mechanics as he is at
OS's. Everyone wants help! ( I believe that every thing is semi OK with
Win2K but wait for his response or bounce him again.) "He starts easy just
needs a push." his words not mine.

Hi Folks!
Anyone out there running ECS under Win2000? If so, any problems? Is it
running well?
Cheers!
