I know that previous releases had lots of problems. The latest seems
much more compatible than the past. It also supports multiple OS's like
Linux, MAC's and others. I wouldn't waste too much time trying to get ECS
working on HotJava, but maybe down the road when the dust has
settled, you can work through the problems.

It also apparently does not support absolute positioning
(a MUST in this context). And I still can't figure out
why it constantly requests my JAVA images.
