When ECS starts either by double-clicking ECS.EXE or when ECS.EXE is in the
startup folder as mine is, it actually opens a MS-DOS prompt box (at least
mine does) before the actual "ECS: Groups 05/02/00" window.  These damn
MS-DOS prompts are what is hanging on me.  It is also happening with
WPDL.EXE.
