OOPS, I had that backwards (doh!). It was probably sampled at a lower rate
(maybe at 7200Hz?) than 22, 056K – not higher, which would make it play
sloooower.
Oh well – it looks like you solved it. :-)

I changed the default PHONE-ANSWER-MSG to point to a .WAV file that I
recorded to use as an outgoing message. If I double click the file from
Windows Explorer, it plays fine. However, when I call in to test the Voice
mail, the message plays super fast... How do I get it to play at normal
speed??
