With the newer version of ECS I did as instructed and moved my settings
from the AUTOEXEC.BAT file to text items.

I have always experienced some DDE problems with ACE and ECS.  Never been
able to eliminate it.

When the temperature changes it takes ACE about three tries before ECS
accepts the new temp.  An error time out screen will appear usually twice
and on the third try ECS will update ......

For those of you using ACE, WHAT are your settings.  I have the following
that I moved to text Items.

ECS_DDE_RET_DLY=10
ECS_DDE_CLN_DLY=10
ECS_DDE_CLN_TRYS=10
ECS_DDE_RETRY_DLN=500
