Subject: From: Date: | RE: [ECS] FW: [ECS] Bug in ECSW - System resources eaten up Troy Carpenter Tue, 25 Aug 1998 09:37:42 -0400 |
Yes, you understand correctly. However, there is one other
difference...with my config I am actually connected to the PLC Interface.
Don't see how that would make a difference, and in fact it doesn't (just
tested it again without the PLC connected...this time I just pressed the
various function keys and it eventually ate the resources).
I just put the original example back on the Libretto and sure enough, it
does not have the problem. I have an idea that the problem may be related
to items with Backup set to YES. I will test that out in a bit.

Hi Troy!
Just to confirm:
Running ECS.EXE 3.4.021 on your Libretto with the example .cfg does not
exhibit the resource problem.
When you do nothing but switch to your .cfg and the problem re-appears.
Yup, that's weird. If you can find a way to get your .cfg out past your
firewall, I'd be happy to take a look at it and see if I can help.
Cheers!
