To further explain the problem: The remote phone sessions work fine when I
call into ECS and initiate the session. However, when ECS calls me when a
new message is left, that's when the phone remains off the hook, and never
resets. I am pushing * until ECS responds "Goodbye," but the phone never
gets hung up. Of course, then all callers are greeted with a busy signal.
As I said, it works fine when I call in...
Help!?

I would recommend that you use the PHONE-SERVICE
Event exactly as it exists in EXAMPLE.CFG.
Then customize it AFTER you verify that it's working
(step by step).
