Subject: From: Date: | Web Interface loading Kevin Keast Wed, 14 Jun 2000 22:04:44 -0400 |
Hi everyone,
I have not been working with HA much lately. I just now got the ECS web
interface going on my ECS machine. Currently I use RADMIN but would like
using ECS as a server. I have a 450MHZ machine and the pages appear to load
slow. One by one each item and graphic (if it has one) pops up in the group.
Is this just the way things are when moving from group to group? Is there
some thing I can do to cache the pages so they don't have to reload the item
boxes each time?
Is this a function of the ECS default pages: In other words, if I write some
other html code and graphics will this still occur?
I know I will probably find out these answers eventually but wanted to see
if anyone could save me some time. If I can't speed the loading of the
groups up I will probably stick with RADMIN for now.
BTW: If folks did not know it RADMIN now supports multiple users connected
to a single host simultaneously- works great for controlling the ECS machine
from my LAN computers but I would rather go all web based.
Thanks for any/all comments
Kevin
