Subject: DynaFace "Fault"
I am once again trying to get back into the HA arena. It has been a long time and I
can't find some of my documentation. I have the ecs lite (I also have the ecs dos version)
and a Dynaface interface. However my Dynaface keeps the "Fault" light on. does anyone
know what this means? The communications light is constantly on and the run lite blinks.
When I manage an X-10 light from a 4 button controller the "x-10 send/receive" light
blinks. However the fault light stays on and the ecs program does not do anything.
Is it the serial port? When I disconnect the line to the computer, the communications
light goes out so I think the Dynaface is trying to do something but the computer isn't.
Does anyone have any thoughts on where I should start to correct this problem?
P.S. In the past I did have the system up and running (past = 4 years ago).
Thanks.
