Hi Michael.  I tried to set up ECS using plc-interface-2C but it is not in the selectable
items menu and when I typed it in I got "unknown item name" error message.

  If you are using a Redac (Dynaface) you should use the PLC-Interface-2C
  item, not the 2K.  :)

  If ECS reports no error, that means that the
  REDAC is responding properly (and either "thinks"
  that it is sending the commands, OR is buffering
  them due to some other problem).
