Paul,
The only way you could do this is to have 2-way X-10 modules which support
status polling. That way, in your STARTUP event ECS could poll each module
for its current state. However, if your X-10 switches are receive only,
there is no way ECS or any other program which is --not-- running could
monitor anything.
If ActiveHome did, I find it strange, but maybe due to macro or storage
capability of CM-11a. Remember, with ECS, we don't use the internal storage
capability of the CM-11a and in fact, we have to have the batteries removed.
That's my guess anyway...
Lastly, why would anyone ever NOT have ECS running??? ;<} !
