I have just started using USB. My HomeVision PC unit seems quite happy
working through an Entrega (now part of Xircom) hub2U1S1P.

I wanted to use a laptop to provide print services (2 printers), and web
access via a modem and MS Internet Connection Sharing to all the PCs in my
home AND run ECS. The laptop only has 1 parallel and 1 serial port but it
does have a USB port. Thanks to the hub it can now do all of these things.
