I'm seeing the same thing. Also on Win98SE. I'm not running antivirus
on the ECS machine and I've already replaced the system battery (without
positive effect).

Nope. It's just running slow. Not every day, not all the time. Some
mornings
I'll check and it's fine, others it off by several hours and minutes...
