Hi all,
I have uploaded a new beta to http://www.usit.com/omnip/ecsb.zip.
This DOES have the UNtested fix for A.J.'s phone-msg playback problem.
PLEASE note #39 below.

	4.4.004 (06/18/00)

*   32)	Item/Event/Group/State names may now be up to 23 characters long
	(up from 19).
	NOTE TO USERS OF THE SERIAL-API: This change effects the size of
	the "itmnam"/"sttnam" fields of the ITEM-REQUEST packet, and the
	"itmnam"/"itpnam"/"sttnam" fields of the ITEM-RESPONSE packet.

    33)	The Ecs_item JAVA applet no longer increases the font size to
	fit the height of the applet window: It now just uses the default
	browser font unless it is too big to fit, in which case it will
	use a smaller font.

    34)	The Ecs_item JAVA Applet now supports a font-height parameter
	("FONT_H"), so as to override the default if needed.

    35)	If you double-click the gray area below the checkoff box in a
	Group-Item Window, ECS will now display the dropdown for the
	Item's State (comes in handy when the dropdown button has been
	hidden by a resize).

    36)	ECS now supports the ability to align Group-Item windows
	(right-click on a window to try it out).

*   37)	A bug has been corrected which prevented the desired Group from
	being displayed at startup if it was denoted via the INITIAL STATE
	of the ACTIVE-GROUP Item.

    38)	A bug has been corrected in the new FILTER.EXE.

*   39)	The message log file (ECS.LOG) has been renamed to MSG.LOG,
	and ECS.LOG is now used to log ECS status messages (e.g.
	those displayed in the ECS message line) when in debug mode.
	PLEASE RENAME ECS.LOG to MSG.LOG.
