RE: [ECS] One question, one problem

In regards to ecs_www.bat sekelsky.com is the correct setting for smtp. I
use this in all email programs and also in postie.txt. I never append it
with smtp. I have tried running ecs_www.bat via a DOS prompt and as best I
can tell it works fine, but no email is sent.

I'll see if I can reproduce my other issue more simply. May be a while.

Thanks for the heads up on the TV Listing event. I don't have that issue,
but will look into it.

Mark,
Your ECS_WWW.BAT HOST setting ("sekelsky.com") looks VERY suspicious.
I think it should start with "smtp" followed by your ISP "ID"
(e.g. "smtp.usit.net"). See POSTIE section in manual.
Test it "manually" by entering "ECS_WWW.BAT" at the DOS
command prompt.

I tested with your cfg, but can't reproduce any problem.
In order to spend any more time on this, I must have a
SIMPLE procedure which will re-create it. There are FAR
too many complexities related to setting "SOMEBODY HOME"
to TRUE. Plus, ACE is involved (this is a BIG UNKNOWN).
Ideally, I would need a small test cfg having only those
Items/Events required to reproduce the problem.

NOTES:
In testing, I had to comment out your TV-LISTING Event,
as it was CONSTANTLY opening new windows (please compare
to that in EXAMPLE.CFG).

You have TWO passwords for the WWW/LOCAL:1 Session.
