RE: [ECS] Web access of ECS via IE 4

I think one of the reasons this works for me but not you is that my ECS
machine and my web browser are on a local lan with internal IP addresses set
by me. I probably have the java security set wide open since neither of
these machines are accessible from the internet. I also don't have a
password set for ECS web access.

How do you open the java console in IE 4? Maybe I can log my successful
attempts and see where the differences are.

The screens I am getting with IE4 look exactly like the ones in IE% *before*
I made the setting adjustments as per ecs.htm. You've made those same
adjustments and still can't get it with 5x?

This is not a problem with IE 4, I'm having the same problem with IE 5 (5.0,
5.01, and 5.5).

I've actually given up on getting the web access to work... ;-(

My work PC has IE 4 (5 is NOT an option). It does not have the same Java
security settings as IE 5. When I access ECS I just get the dull gray boxes
with ? marks. Is there a way to access and control ECS via IE 4?
