Subject: From: Date: | RE: [ECS] Web access of ECS via IE 4 Mark Sekelsky Sat, 1 Jul 2000 13:58:34 -0500 |
Got it! I poked around a little and found how to make the same permission
adjustments to java in IE4 as in IE5. All is working now.
For the java console look under View|InternetOptions|Advanced you enable the
java console. The console is then viewed via View|Java Console

Subject: RE: [ECS] Web access of ECS via IE 4
I think one of the reasons this works for me but not you is that my ECS
machine and my web browser are on a local lan with internal IP addresses set
by me. I probably have the java security set wide open since neither of
these machines are accessible from the internet. I also don't have a
password set for ECS web access.
How do you open the java console in IE 4? Maybe I can log my successful
attempts and see where the differences are.
