Is there any way to combat blank phone messages.  Recently, I've been
getting a lot of phone messages that are dead air for 5-10 seconds, then you
hear the phone company recording "If you'd like to make a call, please hang
up..."  I also get phone messages sometimes when the caller hangs up before
the outgoing message is done.

I'm using Win98SE, and a Rockwell based 33.6 v.34 modem.
