Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] Blank phone messages Mark Gilmore Tue, 11 Jul 2000 09:07:06 -0400 |
A.J.,
I have seen this problem with some callers
(or calls from certain areas ?), where there is
not a sufficient duration of silence after the
hangup (to be detected by the modem).
The default silence-detection duration is 5 seconds.
This may be overridden by editing PHNC0.SET,
but making it TOO low will cause premature hangups
when callers pause.
