Hello

I used the same Two line to One line auto switch. I modified the
switch so I could detect (through a digital input) which line was
ACTIVE I would first send a message to the log stating which line
the call came from. This also allows you to select a different
greeting for each line. Also in the modification I have the ability of
ECS to select which line is active for outgoing calls (Through a
digital output) If you do not do this ECS will dial OUT on the LAST
line that was RINGING. I have an event setup that after EVERY
phone call received I reset the Autoswitch back to line 1. This
leaves line 2 free most of the time to do my internet Stuff.

Hope this helps

If you hve any questions on the modification please let me know.
By the way Radio shack is having a discontinued sale on these
items for $9.95. I picked up a spare because you cannot even
come close to building one for that price. Also for all the ECS
users Radio shack also has a Very Cheap ($2.95) Line in use
detector That can be very easily modified to sense LOCAL phone
OFF-Hook condition through a digital input.
