Yeah; it's a real pain. What IR interface are you using? On my system, I
tried various things with different results. My TV is a big Mitsu so a
current flow worked well for that but my VCR doesn't draw that much current
so I think I'm going to try a video detector. Life will be much easier if
all the manufacturers would do something like Yamaha's new receiver with a
RS-232 port.
