My biggest complaint about X10 interfaces is that they look so bad. I
don't know what the mega 32 looks like? Some of mine are unreliable
too.

I am also confused by everyone using a phone for things. I just use
X10
for all interaction. I love them versus phone system interaction. I
don't have to rewire all phones to go through ECS. I can have menues
on
the remotes, espetially the Mega32's which have a covered place for
menus that I print out from the computer so they look great. I have a
few receivers in the house so I can have a few different button sets
as
needed in different areas. The seperate receivers allows also the
positioning of the receiver in the area for good reception. I don't
have to hit multiple buttons, remember any codes, or wait for voice
reply/feedback. I just reach over to the wireless X10 remote and push!
Done! I use then for everything, as I do not do any regular sit down
at
the computer for anything other than programing and debugging. The
computer just sits in the den and does as told...
