I have one of these Nutone 32 Remotes. Works very well. I reliably can be about 40 feet away and get a response. Mostly used in the master bedroom but I use it to test things from other bedrooms in the house. I don't have the antenna extended and it sits behind a cedar chest but for my needs it works. Very reliable within the room the receiver is placed in. You do have to give the buttons a good push to make contact. They are kind of big.
