Subject: From: Date: | RE: [ECS] background rec beta Mark Sekelsky Sat, 29 Aug 1998 20:47:55 -0500 |
I have verified that if I pick up the local phone while somebody is leaving
a message, ECS will stop recording the caller's message. However, it does
not appear that phone interface C has the ability (at least yet) to
recognize a local phone pick up when not answering a call. If I pick up the
local phone and press the # key, you just get a busy signal. So I assume
that phone interface C is looking for the modem to answer first.

Hi,
So now Phone-C can detect a local phone pick-up? Wouldn't that mean
local phone sessions are possible?
Later,
