Have you tested this circuit? If you use more than one emmiter I 
would suggest a larger transistor even though the current is only 
pulsed for a short time. The IR Master 100 uses a similar setup but 
uses a TIP 111 transistor to drive the 3 emmiters. If you know 
someone that needs a bunch I may be able to make them. If you 
really think this may be a good item to reproduce I have contact 
that makes circuit boards and that would make it a whole lot easier.
