Hi Folks!
Well - I've crawled out of my cave, at least for a little while, having
launched our first Web site. Before I go back in to work on the next one, I
thought I'd drop by and say "hi!"
Man - ECS has changed over the last few months (Good job Mark - do you ever
sleep?). I wonder how long it will be until I finally get my house caught
up to the newest version!
In the meantime, I have a quick question, to which I'm sure that someone
here will have the answer:
Orders on the new site are real-time, completely automatic, and generally go
through without a hitch. However, every once in a while, an order will have
a problem, (like the address verification on the customer's credit card
didn't pass, etc.). This puts the order in a "pending" pile, and sends me
an email telling me to check the order. I can then contact the customer and
figure it out.
Now, what I want to do is have ECS notify me - verbally, if I am home, or by
pager, when this email comes in. So, the question is, how can I get ECS to
check incoming email, and look for a message with specific words in the
subject, or from a specific address?
Cheers!
Michael David
