Subject: From: Date: | RE: [ECS] New TV-Guide A.J. Griglak Mon, 28 Aug 2000 12:44:10 -0400 |
I have the same problem. I also noticed something else with the
TV-GUIDE.HTM. I run RADMIN 2.0 (Remote Administrator), and whenver I
locally open TV-GUIDE.HTM, RADMIN flips out and icons will come and go on
the taskbar, also the user resources drop down to 0.
If I view TV-GUIDE.HTM through the network (http://192.168.1.100:3000/), the
resources and RADMIN stay as they should, but the "NOW" problem still
happens.

My dates in tvl.txt are correct. I checked my items, but don't see anything
incorrect. As per upd.txt I deleted all tvl4~, tvl5~ and tvl6~ items and
will use the new tv-guide exclusively.
One clue as I do have as to what I have wrong (at least I think it is a
clue) is that ECS opens a DOS window when I first request the TV-Guide. I
assume this is creating tv-guide.txt or some other file for .html. When I
select another time to view another DOS window is not opened. I would think
that it would be?

Hey Mark;
Check your tvl.txt, and make sure it reflects the proper dates. That's the
problem I had. I checked the date on tvlnew.txt and sure enough it was
current while the tvl.txt wasn't. copying the tvlnew.txt to tvl.txt solved
my problem.
Another thing you might look at is your tv-guide item. See the upd.txt if
you missed Mark's change there.
