Mark:
I am currently running ECS Version 4.4.004. According to the manual for
that version, and according to your post below, I should have to add 60
minutes to the sunrise-time and sunset-time to get the proper values
adjusted for daylight time. BUT, I appear to be getting proper daylight
time values without doing any further math. Am I doing something wrong?
Based upon Latitude=+42 , Longitude=+87, Central time zone, and today's date
(8/30/00), I am getting a sunrise of 6:12 AM and a sunset of 7:23 PM. These
are the correct times without any further adjustment. I don't mean to
complain about getting the right answer. But, doesn't this mean that I will
have to create code for the opposite correction when we revert to standard
time?
Kevin
