I'm trying to set up the keys using keyboard event items for a program
(www.muzicman.com)...

They will only work when the program is NOT the top application on the
screen.  They won't work if the app is on top, or if it is minimized.  If
the app is not the topmost, the key will work, but it also brings the app to
the top, so that subsequent keys won't work.

Any ideas?
