No Michael. There is never any activity on the Redac's 'x10 activity' led; not when
ECS originates an x10 command nor when another controller originates.

The TW will show activity for other controllers (i.e. cp-290) but nothing when ECS/Redac
issues a command. Symptoms seem to indicate to me that there is some kind of transceiver/driver
circuit on the Redac that may be blown. Not getting any errors in the ECS software,
so maybe it thinks the commands are going out OK.

Am I barking up the wrong tree? Don't know enough about the chip sets. Any clue as
to where to start looking?

Hilt

  Hi Hilt!

Hmmm. You to clarify something in your original message: When ECS sends a X10 commend,
you see the LED flash on the TW, but the "X10 activity" light on the Redac does not.
Is that what you are seeing?

  Cheers!

  Michael/Joe,

The 523's still work fine. I use one to control the thermostat. I can still send
x10 and control the thermo. I switched 523's and the thermo still worked fine. Any
other suggestions?

  Hilt

  thanks for the offer Joe

  Hello

Did your TW-523 Possibly DIE?? If ECS communicates with the REDAC then it is probably
still working. I just switched to the CM11A and may have a spare TW-523 if you need
one.

you know it must be serious. My (5 year old) Micro Redac stopped sending and receiving

flash too. The X10-Activity light stays off. What happened? I had to stoop to using
a CP290 just to get a little of the lighting going. I still run ECS dos v3.3. Probably
