Mark S:

I live in Glenview.

By the way -- I seem to have solved my sunrise/sunset problems. It appears that my
version of ECS makes the conversion for daylight time despite the fact that the documentation
says otherwise.

Subject: [ECS] Sunrise and Sunset times

I am having difficulty in making the sunrise-time and sunset-time work as I expect.
Given the values that I put in for latitude, longitude, and time zone, the sunrise-time
and sunset-time seem to be assigned reasonable values. But, according to the documentation,
these times should be one hour early during the current daylight savings time. I can't
tell if I am giving the parameters wrong or if perhaps ECS has been enhanced to handle
daylight savings time and the documentation is just out of date.

I live at approximately 42N, 87W (Chicago). I am putting +42 in for the latitude.
I am putting +93 in for the longitude (180-87). I am putting Central in for the time
zone. Can anyone see that I am doing something wrong? Or, has the daylight savings
time problem been solved and not documented?

    Thanks for your help.

    Kevin
