Subject: From: Date: | ECS getting started Carl Swanson Tue, 12 Sep 2000 16:08:03 -0500 |
All,
I've looked off and on at the ECS program and wanted to see if I can get
started with
it, test out the lite version and see if my computer and it's com ports all
work, that
sort of thing.
I know the ECS web page is suggesting an advanced $200 controller for nice
set-ups,
but what can I get to start with? I basically would just love to play with X-10
to start with,
and maybe that included voice synthesis stuff.
Would the CM11A be the way to go? Any other suggested hardware for just
starting out? Any good place to buy the CM11A?
Thanks,
Carl
