I downloaded 7.0 for Win98 and I notice such a behaviour when playing
video clips. It goes slowly and streaming is not continous (my machine
is only a Celeron 566, maybe too slow for Microsoft?? :-))
Anyway, I'd not change from Winamp, if you only need it for WAV and MPŁ.
Better gifts from WMP may not be (for me, IMO) worth the effort and the
cost in resources.
