I think someone in the HomeVision group was successful in controlling one of
these babies:

Always thought they looked cool. I don't know if ECS can send out the
extended commands needed.

Subject: [ECS] LED lights, LCD displays
How could I have LED lights that would show the status of ECS variables?
Specifically, when I'm home, the LED light would be lit, and when I'm away,
the light would be out.
Has anyone used the X-10 wall mounted keypads (4210 -
http://www.smarthome.com/4210R.html). This would be ideal if ECS could
control the LED on these babies - but I doubt it. The page says that the
lights are controlled by the ON/OFF of the switch and also if changed by
another X-10 device.
Or, even better, is there a way to have a simple LCD one line screen that
can be controlled by ECS? I just found this one, but it's discontinued
