Subject: From: Date: | Computer interference problem Carl Swanson Fri, 29 Sep 2000 10:23:33 -0500 |
I have a question for X10 savy people if I might.
I have determined that turning off my PC allows
X10 signals to work on the power lines near my PC,
and turning it on prevents them from working.
So obviously the computer is causing interference.
Can anyone give me a pointer toward an
X10 filter that will work? Something not too expensive,
but that will work.
Another question, probably for Mark. I downloaded the
ECS lite version to test it out and once I fix the above
problem, it should work.
Does Statesman come with ECS Lite? Is there a demo copy?
I want to try out Text-to-speech and see how well it works
and if it works on my PC.
And does ECS work with Windows NT? I have Windows 98 in
dual boot, but I'd rather use NT.
Thanks,
Carl
