Subject: From: Date: | RE: [ECS] TVL Question? Joseph and Jessica Colson Fri, 29 Sep 2000 20:13:45 -0700 |
Mark -
The Error it gives is "TVL Error"
Now just for some background in the past couple of weeks I
have erased windows and reloaded. When I set TVL to true still
nothing happens. Not sure if I'm missing something here.
By the way I would like to commend you on how quickly you respond
to Costumer Concerns/Suggestions. Many Companies to should take notes
from you!

Hi Joe,
ECS does nothing in particular, other than running WPDL.EXE
to download the TV-listing web pages (which SHOULD automatically
trigger an ISP dialup).
Is there something "unique" about your ISP setup that might
prevent this from happening ?
Is ECS reporting any error ?
After setting TVL-ENABLED to TRUE, listen for the error bell,
and click the message-line dropdown (at top) in case it scrolled
off-screen.
What is the resulting status of "TVL DL STATUS" ?
