Subject: From: Date: | RE: RE: RE: RE: [ECS] Alarm suggestions Scott Reston Wed, 02 Sep 1998 14:36:29 -0500 |
i've got a DSC Power 832 system that was already installed in my home
when i purchased it... when i called DSC, they weren't real helpful
about letting me know what info i could get out of my alarm if i did
get the serial connecter. i got the impression that the alarm would
only tell when it was tripped, armed or disarmed.
2 questions, then -
1) is the power 832 the DSC product that martin's waiting on?
2) what info will the 832 pass on?
by the way, i _have_ been real happy with the system. i've got a
couple of the 5500 LCD (plain language) keypads and the thing is easy
enough to deal with that my wife loves it too...
