Subject: From: Date: | Serial communication for NT & 2000 Dan Carrington Sun, 08 Oct 2000 23:35:18 -0700 |
Did anything ever come of the serial communication subroutine/subprogram that
was discussed a month or two ago? I remember someone talking about this problem
when planning to work ECS into 2000 and the way 2000 controls the hardware. I
never hear any resolve or confirmation that ECS will communicate correctly with
these OS's.
I am using ECS 4.2.008 under NT and still get many serial communication error
messages, though the system works. It makes it inconvenient to have the system
speak messages to me when 40 or 50 of them are serial communication errors that
I can not tell ECS not to log into the message bin. I am wondering if would be
useful to upgrade to the newest version.
